ENT Attachment

As we at K-Laser USA continue to push the frontiers of laser therapy, we value the feedback from you, the K-Laser Family. While our Adjustable Zoom handpiece continues to be by far the most versatile laser applicator on the market, you have informed us that the harder-to-reach areas of the mouth and ears often require something a bit more nimble. In this light, we have introduced the Ear, Nose, and Throat (ENT) Treatment Tip. At the same time, and in keeping with our constant dedication to ease-of-use, our Quick Release Technology (QRT) facilitates a seamless interchange between both the Zoom and ENT tips, thus eliminating any down-time between procedures.

Since the spot size of the ENT tip is much smaller than even the tightest Zoom setting, there is a need to decrease the power of the protocol to keep the power density within safe limits. But as is the case with everything else in the K-CUBE™ software, there are no head calculations or manual adjustments necessary. Instead, the final screen displayed before the laser beam becomes active (the same one that reminds you to wear your goggles) gives two graphical buttons, one for each of our treatment tips. The power and treatment time of the chosen protocol automatically changes to fit the recommended settings for appropriate tip. So without any extra touches of the screen, and after only a 2-second swap of the QRT tips, you have an even more robust solution for every ailment that walks through your door.

**NEW** Standard Ergonomic Stand

Although the K-Laser CUBE series is highly portable we also supply an ergonomic stand to compliment the laser when being used in practice. The stand is mounted on a wheeled base allowing the unit to be easily moved close to the patient. The stand can also be use to store your K-Laser accessories when not in use.

The stand also has a magnetised docking station that ensures the k-laser is securely held when on the stand.

Equine Holster

At BEVA 2014 VBS Direct unveiled the new K-Laser Cube series and Equine Holster making life easier for clinicians managing cases in the field or equine hospital.

“Working with horses in the field or stable our equine clinicians using the K-Laser need both hands free,” said Stephen Barabas, Veterinary Director. “The Equine Holster gives them convenient access to operate the laser and examine the horse while also protecting the laser from getting knocked over, kicked or stepped on.”

A sturdy base attached to a heavy duty belt, the Equine Holster allows for a hands-free approach. The swivel features allows for easy access to the touch screen, and the magnetic base also connects to the ergonomic cart (also available via VBS Direct).
